DIR Technologies will be exhibiting innovative thermographic inspection systems at Interpack 2014, Dusseldorf
INTERPACK, the major event of the international packaging community will take place at the Dusseldorf Messe during May 8-14, 2014. The show takes place every 3 years and brings under the same roof more than 2500 exhibiting companies from 60 countries. DIR will present at the show two innovative inspection systems: The I2VS, Induction Integrity Verification System and the SFM, Sachet Fill Monitoring system.
The I2VS is the only system capable of in-line, 100% inspection of the induction sealing integrity of bottles and jars. The system is making use of a high-end thermal camera and sophisticated image processing tools. The I2VS was lauched in September 2013 at Packexpo, Las Vegas, and generated a huge interest on the packaging community. Currently the system is being evaluated by major manufactureres in the pharmaceutcial and nutraceutical industries. The I2VS will be demonstrated at the DIR Technologies booth, Hall 8A-E09.
The SFM is monitoring the fill level of sachets and pouches and can detect at real time sachets or pouches that were not properly filled. The SFM is compact and efficient, and can effectively replace the traditional checkweighers that are bulky and expensive. The SFM will be demonstrated by Mediseal at the Korber-Medipak booth, Hall 16 – A25.
